Review by: Phillip Unghei
“We went to Kennedy Space Center because I’m fascinated with
space, and oh boy was it worth it. We got to see a lot of
decommissioned space shuttles and equipment. The space shuttles are
massive, they take huuuge warehouses to cover them, some are outside
because there aren’t any areas to put such massive hulls! When we
first entered the park there was a man inside a space suit, he took
pictures with everyone and showed off the suit. There was a lot of
showing rooms; where there would be an instructor that explained all
the uses for the equipment we were shown. There is an observation
stand that’s nearly five stories high where you overlook a lake and
can see the launch pad (We saw Alligators in the lake)! We also saw
the observation center where they monitor the launches! The entire
place was awesome, and I can see how it is both entertaining and
educational, this place is amazing!”
