Blizzard Beach Tickets
"It was one of those Florida days where the humidity was just incredibly hot!
So we went to Blizzard Beach to
enjoy some cool water and a winter atmosphere. Whoever dream this idea up I
must say is a genius, bringing the winter to Florida to cool everyone off, its
just fantastic. We first got there and I took my two younger kids to the Ski
Patrol Training Camp where they played on the jump pads in the water. Some of
the cooler stuff there was the two zip lines and the two side by side water
slides. We then went to Melt Away bay; a huge wave pool, and try as I did, I
was not able to swim that far out, the waves were just that big! We then
started to ride the water slides around the park. We first went to the Downhill
Double Dipper, and my kids raced side by side several times over! That's what's
nice about the park, they send someone down the slide every twenty seconds, so
the lines move fast. We went to Runoff Rapids next, and we each took a tunnel,
all of them are different by mine was definitely the best. They let you pick
which tunnel you want, but it's first come first serve so don't expect to get
the one you want every time! We tried them all, and then went to the Slush
Gusher, this was a fast freefall, but not as fast as the next ride we went on;
the Summit Plummet. I went down this a little skeptical, but was pleased when I
found out that I had reached a speed of 57mph! If you are gonna go to a water
park while you're at Disney, this is the one you MUST pick; its simply
fantastic!" - Taylor Tush
